Introduction of the system
HEXACAD is a complete CAD Software with features like 3D Modeling, database connectivity, built in Script support, customized report generation, walk through creation, animation, voice enabled interactive demo creation and many more. This software is compatible with AutoCAD dxf (Drawing Exchange Format) files and up to dwg 2000 file format. Currently hexacad is available on the site with HVAC vertical. Application is developed in VC++ using technologies like OpenGL, ODBC, SAPI, internet, automation etc.

What is CAD?

Computer-aided design (CAD) is the use of computer technology to aid in the design of a product, particularly the drafting of a part or the product—a part visual (drawing) and part symbol method of communications particular to a specific technical field.

CAD is mainly used for detailed engineering of 3D models and/or 2D drawings of physical components, but it is also used throughout the engineering process From conceptual design and layout of products, through strength and dynamic analysis of assemblies to definition of manufacturing methods of components.
